Home Health Care Plus, Inc. opened August 16, 1994. Debbie and Dennis Davison wanted to start a business that would provide help to seniors who wanted to stay in their own homes. A 100 year old building was purchased in downtown Pekin and renovated for office space. The business grew quickly becoming Medicare Certified in October 1994 and eventually licensed to serve seven counties in Central Illinois.

Community involvement is an agency priority and has been since we opened. Free blood pressure clinics at various community sites and flu shot administration are ongoing each year. Home Health Care Plus, Inc. is currently a major corporate sponsor of both the Central Illinois Chapter of the Dream Factory, a wish granting organization for chronically and critically ill children and the Twilight Wish Granting Foundation, granting wishes to seniors.

Our agency is blessed with a dedicated staff who genuinely care for their patients and the communities in which they live - that's the "Plus" in Home Health Care Plus, Inc.

Home Health Care Plus, Inc. realized another significant goal in 2004 when we received our second 100% Medicare Survey in three years. These surveys are unscheduled and occur every one to three years. They are conducted by the Illinois Department of Public Health and are quite extensive. As Debbie says, "We don't aim for excellence, we achieve it!"
